Tension square is the case in the above photo. Krysia getting ready to knit a little garment for our soon to arrive grandson. ! The square is used to determine how many stitches per 10 cms, so you can get it right for a given pattern. What's very interesting is that the tension for here is different to back in Wales for the same size wool and needles. Mmmm, must be more laid back in Imsouane. What a surprise.
Not always the case though. There are many alpha males here who are desperate to have as much surf as possible, so tension increase is palpable in the air. A surf camp vehicle arrives and out tumbles a group of hungry lads, with many more in the water already. Unfortunately, it only takes one alpha to crack in the water and sad scenes develop. Like shouting at a bemused female surfer as I witnessed one local do. Do we all take it too seriously or what ?
Not so with these two lovelies who are a level of sweet tension as arises between people when they are tuned into all that is beautiful. A bird, a cloud, a joyous memory. Whatever. When angels live lightly, they can fly !
Correct posture, now that's another form of tension. How we hold ourselves and the underlying forces at work which are so easily seen in others but not so well felt in ourselves.Now what does my posture say ? Any comments or ideas, feel free to email me.
